What we do
Construction dust gets everywhere. It settles on window sills, inside cabinets, on light fixtures and in the grooves of trim. One pass with a vacuum won't fix it, and a space that still has a film on every surface doesn't look finished.
We clean after renovations, remodels, painting, new flooring and commercial build-outs. That includes homes, offices, retail spaces and larger commercial sites such as car dealership showrooms. We work top to bottom, so dust from above doesn't land on floors we've already done.
It suits contractors who want to hand over a clean job, owners who want to move in, and agents with a renovated house about to hit the market.

What post-construction cleaning includes
High-to-low dust removal
We start at the ceiling line and work down so dust from above never lands on finished floors.
Sills, trim and door frames
The ledges where fine dust sits longest, wiped until the cloth comes back clean.
Cabinets and shelving
Exteriors, and shelves inside, cleared of sanding dust before anything goes in them.
Kitchens and bathrooms
Fixtures, counters, tile and new appliances cleaned of film and sticker residue.
Interior glass
Windows and glass doors cleaned of dust, overspray and fingerprints from the trades.
Floors
Vacuumed and mopped, with care on new finishes.
Light debris
Leftover scraps and packaging removed from the space.
Final detail pass
A last clean right before handover, opening day or the photographer.
How the job runs
We look at the space and the finish date first, ideally while the trades are still wrapping up. Big jobs often go best in two passes: a rough clean when the heavy work ends and a final detail clean right before handover.
Rough clean
When the heavy work wraps up, we clear the bulk of the dust and debris so the final trades work in a cleaner space.
Final clean
After the last trade leaves, we do the high-to-low detail clean of every surface.
Touch-up
Right before handover or opening, a quick pass catches anything the punch list stirred up.
Coordinating with your GC
Post-construction cleaning works best when the cleaner knows the general contractor's schedule. We ask for the punch-list date and the handover date, and we fit the rough and final cleans around the trades so nobody is waiting on anybody.
On commercial jobs such as offices and showrooms, the opening date usually can't move. We schedule backward from it and can work nights or weekends when the trades need the days. If the schedule slips, tell us and we'll re-plan the passes.

Our standard
You shouldn't have to wonder if the job was done right
Missed trash, a restroom skipped, dust left on the sills the day of the showing. We set things up so you can check our work against something written down.
A written scope for every job
Before we start, you get the scope in writing: what's included, room by room or area by area. When the work is done, that list is what we check it against.
Photos of the work
We photograph our work as we go, so there's a record of the condition before and after.
You deal with the owner
Rich quotes the job, walks it with you and is the person you call. If something isn't right, you tell him directly.
Planned around your date
We ask for the date that matters, whether that's listing photos, a closing or opening day, and plan the work backward from it.
Post-construction work in Fairfield and Westchester
Fairfield County remodels a lot of older housing, and older homes hide dust in places a new build doesn't: plaster, original trim, radiators and deep window wells. We plan extra time for those details.
On the commercial side, Post Road (US 1) runs through most of the towns we serve, and its storefronts, showrooms and offices are renovated and refreshed regularly. Those jobs usually have a fixed opening date, so we schedule backward from it.
The Post Road keeps going over the line, through Port Chester, Rye, Mamaroneck and New Rochelle, with the same run of shops and offices. Downtown White Plains and New Rochelle have added new apartment buildings, and every unit needs a final clean before the first tenant gets the keys.

Call (203) 872-5926Post-Construction Cleaning: questions people ask
When should I book a post-construction clean?
Call while the trades are finishing up. That gives us time to plan a rough clean and a final clean around your handover or opening date.
Do you clean commercial construction sites?
Yes. We clean offices, retail spaces and larger commercial sites such as showrooms after build-outs and remodels.
Do you haul away construction debris?
We remove light debris left in the space. Dumpsters and heavy construction waste should stay with the contractor.
Can you work nights or weekends?
For commercial jobs, yes, when the schedule calls for it. Tell us the opening date and we'll plan around it.
Is this different from a regular deep clean?
Yes. Construction dust is finer and spreads further, so we work high to low, clean inside cabinets and along every ledge, and often do two passes.
