A patient forms an opinion of your practice in the waiting room. If the chairs have crumbs on them or the restroom bin is overflowing at 9 a.m., that opinion is made before anyone calls their name. Way Beyond Cleaning handles the evening clean for medical offices, med spas and physical therapy clinics across Fairfield County and Westchester County, so the morning starts with a room that's ready.

We're a small, owner-run company based in Fairfield. When you call, you talk to Rich, the owner, who walks your space, writes the proposal and stays your contact on every visit. In a practice, that means you always know who to ask about access and the last visit.

Our focus is the public and shared parts of your office: reception, waiting areas, hallways, restrooms, break rooms and offices. Exam rooms, treatment rooms and any clinical area get cleaned to your practice's own protocols, which we follow as written. Anything regulated stays with your clinical people.

What's included

Waiting room and check-in

Chairs wiped down, side tables cleared, reading material straightened, and the check-in counter and glass cleaned of fingerprints.

Patient restrooms

Toilets, sinks, mirrors and floors cleaned, with soap, paper and liners restocked from your supplies.

High-touch points

Door handles, light switches, front desk pens, card readers and elevator buttons get a careful wipe-down on every visit.

Exam and treatment rooms

Floors, counters, chairs and bins in these rooms are cleaned following the steps your practice gives us. Sharps, specimens and regulated waste are left alone.

Therapy gym areas

Mats, treatment tables, handrails and the open floor in physical therapy areas get wiped and cleaned, so tomorrow's patients start fresh.

Med spa suites

Treatment chairs, counters, mirrors and the retail display are wiped, with care around products and devices you'd rather we didn't move.

Back-office areas

Break room counters, the sink, microwave and fridge handles, plus the offices and charting stations behind the front desk.

Floors and trash

Carpet vacuumed, hard floors mopped and every bin emptied and relined, from the lobby to the back hallway.

What's different about cleaning a practice

Timing comes first. A medical office can't have someone mopping the lobby while patients check in, so this work happens after the last appointment or before the first one. Some practices run evening hours on certain days, and the cleaning plan has to bend around that.

The second thing is boundaries. Your exam rooms, treatment rooms and supply closets have rules that come from your practice, and we follow them. If a room should be left alone, it gets left alone. If a surface calls for a specific product your practice supplies, we use that product. We'd rather ask a question during the walk-through than guess in a room where guessing isn't okay.

Scheduling

Practices usually book an evening clean on the days they see patients. A busy office might want five nights a week, while a smaller clinic may do fine with two or three. Med spas with Saturday hours often prefer a visit late Saturday or on Sunday, before the week opens. We work out the days and the time window together during the walk-through, based on when your last patient leaves and when the alarm needs to be set.

Questions facility managers ask

Do you clean exam rooms too, or only the front of the office?

Both, if you want. Exam and treatment rooms are cleaned to the steps your practice gives us. We handle floors, counters, chairs and bins, and anything clinical or regulated stays with your own people.

Can you come in after our last patient leaves?

Evening work is the normal setup for a practice. We'll go over your hours at the walk-through and agree on a time window that fits them.

We're a small PT clinic. Is it worth having someone come in a couple times a week?

It can be. A clinic with a busy gym floor and one restroom gets grimy fast. We'll look at your traffic and suggest a schedule, and if two nights a week covers it, that's what the proposal will say.

Who actually shows up to clean our office?

Way Beyond Cleaning is owner-run. Rich walks your office, writes the proposal and is your contact for every visit, so you always know who to call.
